Studio A
Studio A offers producers a unique opportunity to work "live" in the studio. Producers, talent and crew work together to produce a show that's spontaneous and distinctive.
On the Set
On the set, crew work under the direction of the set designer to set up the flats, drapes and props as desired. Meanwhile, the Assistant Audio Director coordinates with the Audio Director in the control room to make sure the required microphones are plugged in and ready for the sound check to come.
Lights, Camera, Action!
Once the set is up, the Lighting Director works with the crew to illuminate the set as was planned such that the Director's desired effect is accomplished. All the while, the talent patiently waits in the "green room" for the shoot to begin.
Control Room
In the studio control room the Technical Director and Director review the shot sheet one last time making sure they are prepared to make split second decisions that are required during the shoot. To accentuate the production, the Assistant Director uses the character generator to prepare titles and graphics for insertion during the shoot.
Organized Chaos!
This is just a sample of the highly organized chaos that occurs during a television production. SCC's Studio A provides all you need to step in front of (or behind) the camera to communicate your message.
