Exploring At SCC

Each year, Suburban Community Channels teams up with the Exploring Program (www.explorenow.org) to create a program for students to learn more about a career in television production. Open to anyone age 14-20, this program allows students to write their own show, then put it into production, using the skills they will learn in our Intro to Camera, Intro to Studio Production, and Intro to Editing sessions. There sessions will cover camerawork, set design, graphic arts, lighting, directing, and editing with Final Cut Pro. This will allow students to learn how to fully execute a television program from start to finish. At the end of the year, a screening is held where students can present their final product to family and friends. This program provides invaluable career experience, as well as their name in the credits of a final production that will air on Channel 15. If you are interested in joining, contact Andrea at 651.747.3834 or andrea@scctv.org.
